Obama to give $1.4 million Nobel Prize to GOP so they can afford Web site?

When President Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize, many stated that it came with a $1.4 million bonus. What would Obama do with it? While, most likely, a variety of charities will get the money, it’s apparent that the GOP might be able to use some of the money so that they and Michael Steele can have a $1.4-million Web presence

The recent relaunch of GOP.com featured a small animated Michael Steele begging for money and a likeness of the ghost of Jackie Robinson and was the most awful things in the history of the internet. The cost: $1.4 million.

The Sunlight Foundation’s Investigation blog looked up the Republican National Committee’s most recent FEC filing and saw that they spent $1.4 million in web sites and services over the past 6 months, the period in which Steele was blueskying names for his new “What Up” blog on the high-class new site, which went live earlier this month.

Rumor has it, the fancy design by Republicans cost them $300,000 with the rest used to pay back political friends. Still, isn't $1.4 million too much to pay for a tiny Michael Steele to walk across your screen when you go to GOP.com?

Unfortunately, Steele’s blog is no longer titled “What up?” and has been renamed to “Change the Game.”

Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate

Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

The allegations that horrified fellow Republicans and caused his once-promising candidacy to implode in four short days have given Obama a clear lead as Republicans struggled to fetch an alternative.

Ryan’s campaign began to crumble on Monday following the release of embarrassing records from his divorce. In the records, his ex-wife, Boston Public actress Jeri Ryan, said her former husband took her to kinky sex clubs in Paris, New York and New Orleans.

"It’s clear to me that a vigorous debate on the issues most likely could not take place if I remain in the race," Ryan, 44, said in a statement. "What would take place, rather, is a brutal, scorched-earth campaign – the kind of campaign that has turned off so many voters, the kind of politics I refuse to play."

Although Ryan disputed the allegations, saying he and his wife went to one ‘avant-garde’ club in Paris and left because they felt uncomfortable, lashed out at the media and said it was "truly outrageous" that the Chicago Tribune got a judge to unseal the records.

The Republican choice will become an instant underdog in the campaign for the seat of retiring Republican Senator Peter Fitzgerald, since Obama held a wide lead even before the scandal broke.

"I feel for him actually," Obama told a Chicago TV station. "What he’s gone through over the last three days I think is something you wouldn’t wish on anybody."

The Republican state committee must now choose a replacement for Ryan, who had won in the primaries against seven contenders. Its task is complicated by the fact that Obama holds a comfortable lead in the polls and is widely regarded as a rising Democratic star.

The chairwoman of the Illinois Republican Party, Judy Topinka, said at a news conference, after Ryan withdrew, that Republicans would probably take several weeks to settle on a new candidate.

"Obviously, this is a bad week for our party and our state," she said.

As recently as Thursday, spokesmen for the Ryan campaign still insisted that Ryan would remain in the race. Ryan had defended himself saying, "There’s no breaking of any laws. There’s no breaking of any marriage laws. There’s no breaking of the Ten Commandments anywhere."

Citigroup Shares Fall Below the $1 - Peter Schiff

Under talks of the U.S. banks being nationalized, Wall Street has showed it's disdain with the policies of newly elected President Obama as the banks continue to fall to all time lows. Today Citigroup shares plunged to an all time low of $0.97 per share.
To put that in perspective Citigroup reached $55.55 a share just 22 months ago on May 1st, 2007.

Citigroup has been infused with over 80 billion dollars in the passed year (36 billion of which is taxpayer's money via TARP) and continues to falter although considered "too big to fail"! Since the new administration has brought to the table Nationalization of banks, the stock market has continually rebuked it through a tumbling of over 1,500 points in only a few weeks time.

Although the numbers have been jaw dropping in the most disgusting of ways these days did not come without warning! On November 3rd 2008, Peter Schiff spoke of the coming consequences of an Obama Presidency in correlation with his policies, and foresight for the country. Democrat Philip J. Berg Files Lawsuit Against Barack Obama

On August 21st Philip J. Berg filed a lawsuit against Barack Hussein Obama claiming he is not a natural born citizen. He claims the birth certificate on barackobama.com is a fraud, and that it has been doctored. Obama's campaign has had two months to provide proper, and legal documentation, but have failed to do so thus admitting to all the charges against him.

Mainstream media REFUSES to cover this issue because so much money has been poured into the Obama campaign. The only place that seems to cover this are the boggers of YouTube, and small websites, and radio stations. Barack Hussein Obama's popularity started growing last summer when his campaign sent our over 1 MILLION e-mails to young potential supporters all across the US. A tactic that paid off greatly in making him the most popular nominee in the 2008 presidential race.

Popularity aside, Barack Obama has done nothing but make promises in the form of generalities. Promise blanketed with "Hope", and "Change", but absolutely no details in how to achieve such goals.

To me Barack Obama is the poster boy for blowing HOT AIR! I was one of the many who received those e-mails. I bought into the hype, until I researched the man. I do not oppose the man's goals. I believe we all need to change and mature as individuals, but it is obvious he is saying whatever he needs to all for a position that his history proves he is not ready for.

Barack Obama has exploited the true wishes of America. A majority of the people would rather hear pretty promises, than take it upon themselves to change. They would rather put all their eggs in the "Obama basket" than take change upon themselves and hack away at it on a daily basis.

In the end. We are the ones ultimately responsible for ourselves. Obama is not gonna raise our kids. Obama is not gonna accept calls when we need someone to talk to, and if Obama wins, and fails as president? We will be set further back than when this presidential race began.
